Asbestos Transfer Station in Uckfield, East Sussex
Allied Waste Management operates a licensed asbestos transfer station on the outskirts of Uckfield, East Sussex. This enables our customers to dispose of smaller amounts of asbestos waste.
We accept both fibrous and cement-bonded asbestos waste, we are open to take waste in from 7.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday. We have clients from Eastbourne, Hastings, Bexhill, Brighton and across East and West Sussex using our asbestos disposal services.
To be able to use this facility you must have a Waste Carriers License in order to transport your asbestos and dispose of it correctly. All asbestos must be appropriately wrapped in poly or double bagged and sealed securely.
We accept fibrous and cement bonded asbestos i.e. roof sheets, doors, boilers, wraps and bags of asbestos. The waste must be able to be handled safely without risk of breakage in order to comply with health and safety regulations and our duty of care.
